Job description

About Us

OOm is a leading digital marketing agency dedicated to creating impactful campaigns that drive real business growth. As part of our continued evolution, we are expanding our reach into a new area of business and building a dedicated team to drive it forward.

The Role

We are looking for a hybrid strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between experiential marketing and digital communities. As a Senior Social/Creative Strategist, you will not only conceptualize groundbreaking event activations but also architect the social roadmap that amplifies them. You will be the architect of the "Big Idea" and the planner of the digital conversation, ensuring our work lives beyond the physical moment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Social Architecture

  • Integrated Social Planning: Develop comprehensive social media strategies that run parallel to event and campaign timelines. You will lead the creation of detailed content calendars and platform-specific plans (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).

  • Ecosystem Design: Map out the customer journey across digital and physical touchpoints. Your goal is to ensure that social media channels drive footfall to events and that physical events generate a wealth of social content.

  • Content Roadmap: Define the content pillars, formats, and cadence required to support the overarching creative strategy.

2. Conceptualisation & Creative Direction

  • Ideation & Shareability: Lead brainstorming sessions to develop groundbreaking ideas that are not only experiential but inherently shareable. Ensure concepts are designed to be Instagrammable/TikTok-able and drive organic conversation.

  • Insight-Led Strategy: Dissect client briefs to uncover core insights, audience behaviors, and cultural tensions, translating them into creative hooks that work seamlessly offline and online.

  • Creative Direction: Oversee the creative process from concept to completion, providing direction to design and production teams to ensure the social assets are just as high-quality as the physical build.

3. Innovation, Trends & Analytics

  • Trendspotting: Stay ahead of industry trends in both Experiential Marketing (tech, immersion) and Social Media (trending audio, algorithm changes, emerging platforms).

  • Performance Optimization: Move beyond just "posting." Analyze social performance data to understand what worked, applying those learnings to future creative strategies.

4. Execution & Management

  • Social Implementation: Manage the day-to-day execution of the social strategies you devise, including scheduling, copywriting, and ensuring assets are delivered on time.

  • Internal Collaboration: Partner closely with the Client Success team to ensure strategies align with client goals and collaborate with Project Managers to ensure social content is captured effectively during live events.

What we’re looking for:
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in creative strategy, social media management, or digital marketing roles (preferably within an experiential, Public Relations, or creative agency).

  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of integrated campaigns

  • Social Fluency: Deep understanding of social platforms (TikTok, IG, LinkedIn, YouTube etc.) and their specific formats, algorithms, and best practices.

  • Planning Proficiency: Experience using social planning and scheduling tools and presentation software

  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment where deadlines are tight and multiple projects run simultaneously.

  • Good to have: Experience in Influencer/KOL management and strategy.
