Primary Responsibilities
Own and drive the development of marketing programs and services working closely with global and regional stakeholders
Use data and analytics to provide key business insights for program development and marketing focused decision making
Interact with internal teams, clients/customers, subcontractors, and cross-functional SAS teams to deliver business objectives
Identify marketing opportunities through market research, customer feedback, analytics and best practices
Represent SAS with third party vendors and partners to support marketing objectives and goals
Create shared vision and detailed plans with key stakeholders on how to maximize marketing impact and optimize return on marketing investments
Deliver measurable results in impacting broader company goals and organizational objectives
Lead and manage a dynamic team, including: determining resource needs and making requests for personnel, equipment, and other resources; recruiting, interviewing, and selecting new employees; setting and communicating performance standards and providing performance feedback and coaching; encouraging and fostering skill development and professional growth
Establish and prioritize department responsibilities/objective relative to the group, department, division, and corporate goals. Ensure that projects are completed on time following established procedures and schedules
Prepare and adhere to allocated budgets and focus on ensuring optimum ROI through marketing programs
Additional Responsibilities
Serve as a member of regional marketing leadership team responsible for determining overall marketing strategy for SAS products and services
Provide strategic and tactical leadership for marketing plan development, implementation, and support
Identify current practices and emerging trends in key markets and geographies
Acts as a liaison between department or division and internal and external parties that influence overall marketing strategy and campaigns
What We’re Looking For
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Fifteen years of experience in integrated Marketing, preferably in the software technology industry, ideally with understanding of cloud technology and enterprise marketing
Proven track record as a strong leader of people and business with a focus on collaboration and building value-based business partnerships across functions with at least ten years of leadership and/or management experience
Experienced in managing a variety of diverse, multi-disciplinary stakeholders across the Greater China, South Korea, and APAC region
Has knowledge of marketing and sales techniques, channels, business partner relationship development strategies, and/or knowledge of a specific industry, market, technology, or business initiative related to area of assignment
Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field
Is strong in written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Proactive in confronting difficult issues; making valiant choices and taking bold action in the face of opposition or fear
Has public speaking experience
Language:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
Fluency in Mandarin as the candidate would need to liaise with clients or stakeholders in the Greater China region
Verbal communication skills in Korean will be an advantage
