❖ Project Engineer (Chemical)
Job Description
Design of plant and equipment for the edible oils & fats refining, oleo-chemicals and bio-diesel processes.
Project executions from basic engineering, detailed engineering to plant commissioning and handover.
Working closely with procurement team for the sourcing and purchase of project equipment.
Liaise with Engineering and Customer Service Team for prompt respond to customers’ comments/ feedback.
Assist in pre-projecting and sales of process solutions.
Requirements
Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering;
Preferably with more than 2 years of working experience in edible oil or oleo-chemical processes and/or in engineering services catered for the above industries;
Technically competent in mechanical design, engineering analysis, equipment specification and project execution;
Good Knowledge on the Industrial pressure equipment standard codes (ASME, DIN, JIS, TEMA etc);
Selection and hands on experience in process equipment such as heat exchangers, vacuum systems, pumps, boilers, filters, chillers, control instruments, hydraulics system etc;
Experience in process vessels design, fabrication and inspection;
Basic knowledge in PLC and troubleshooting of electrical systems;
Able to work independently and interact well as part of an integrated project team;
Willing to travel overseas.
