Senior Security Officer (Security Command Centre)
Job summary
A leading energy provider in Singapore is seeking a security officer to operate and monitor various security systems. The ideal candidate will hold an NITEC certification, possess a valid PLRD Security Officer License, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. The role involves responding to alarms and incidents, ensuring safety and compliance. - NITEC certification or higher is mandatory.
- Must have a valid PLRD Security Officer License with RTT.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor CCTV and physical security systems.
- Respond to security alarms and incidents.
- Assist with access control and notification calls.
Skills
Education
Operate and monitor CCTV surveillance system, Access Control system, Intrusion Detection System and all other physical security related systems.
Respond to physical security system alarms and fault indicators in accordance with protocol & SOPs.
Support and respond to any security incidents/suspicious activity on site and escalation in accordance with standard protocol & SOPs.
Handling notification calls from staff for access into substations.
Assist in other duties as assigned by Team Leader and/or Reporting Officer.
NITEC certification or higher.
Must have valid PLRD Security Officer License with RTT (Minimum SSO Rank).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Microsoft Words and Excel).
Well-spoken & good command of English.
Self-motivated and able to work under little or no supervision.
Must be a team-player and able to work in a team environment.
Able to multi-task and manage detail-oriented tasks.
Able to work 3 rotating shift and adapt to a spontaneous, fast-paced environment.
Candidates with Command Center experiences preferred.
Subject to full-background check and cleared security screening.
