Main Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and pursue potential clients through various sales channels, cold calling, networking, trade fairs, and referrals.
  2. Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs, preferences, and pain points.
  3. Work closely with cross-functional teams in marketing, regulatory, product development, finance, and customer service to align efforts, leverage resources, and maximize sales opportunities.
  4. Thorough understanding of the products or services, including features, benefits, technical specs, and competitive advantages to effectively communicate value to clients.
  5. Regularly review and report sales and financial data, and implement strategies for growth.
  6. Review weekly and monthly sales performance to achieve targets.
  7. Provide customers with detailed product data, specs, and accurate quotations.
  8. Contact potential and existing customers via phone, email, and in person.
  9. Attend to customer queries and resolve complaints.
  10. Support the customer service team to ensure smooth order processing, documentation, and shipments.
  11. Collaborate with vendors on orders, lead times, shipping, and regulatory documentation for critical orders.
  12. Work with the finance team on accounts receivable and collections for overdue accounts.
  13. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities for improvement.

Main Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in ophthalmic lens sales.
  2. Experience in export business is a bonus.
  3. Excellent communication skills. Ability to speak Mandarin is a bonus for communication with relevant customers/suppliers.
  4. Fast learner with a passion for sales.
  5. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  6. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, research, and analytical skills.
  7. Good self-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
