Able to lead and drive strategic growth initiatives for the non-motor segment of general insurance, including bonds, property, liability, engineering, and specialty lines.

The role focuses on expanding market share, forging strategic partnerships, and developing innovative distribution channels to achieve sustainable revenue growth.

Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
  • Able to develop and execute the business development strategy for non-motor general insurance.
  • Able to identify emerging market trends and opportunities to expand product offerings.
  • You need to collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, and product teams to design competitive and profitable products.
Market Expansion:
  • Able to build and manage relationships with brokers, agents, corporate clients, and affinity partners.
  • Lead initiatives to penetrate new markets and customer segments.
  • You need to oversee the development of tailored solutions for commercial and industrial clients.
Revenue & Performance Management:
  • You need to set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Analyse sales data and market intelligence to optimize business strategies.
  • Able to drive cross-functional alignment to ensure delivery of business goals.
Team Leadership:
  • Able to lead and mentor a high-performing business development team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer‑centricity.
  • You need to provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • You need to represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and client meetings.
  • You need to collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of business plans.
