A logistics service provider based in Singapore is seeking a candidate to focus on business development and client acquisition within the logistics and supply chain sector. Key responsibilities include identifying business opportunities, building sales pipelines, managing client relationships, developing sales strategies, monitoring industry trends, and reporting on sales performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in cross-border exports and a deep understanding of logistics solutions for various markets.
Identify and develop business opportunities in the logistics and supply chain sector, with a focus on growing cross-border export services.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through market research, networking, and lead generation.
Possess experience in one of the following key areas:
Singapore & Southeast Asia Focus: Proven experience in managing export logistics flows within the Southeast Asia corridor (e.g., Singapore-Malaysia, Singapore-Indonesia).
Global Markets Focus: In-depth knowledge of logistics protocols and requirements for key international trade lanes such as Asia-Pacific (e.g., Japan-Korea, ANZ) or Europe-America, with a proven ability to optimize client supply chains for cost and efficiency.
Proactively maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients through regular follow-ups and highly responsive support, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction.
Point of contact between the company and the client, deeply understanding their challenges in cross-border exports to deliver comprehensive, end‑to‑end logistics solutions.
Design competitive service proposals tailored to client needs for routes to Southeast Asia, Japan‑Korea, Europe‑America, and Australia‑New Zealand.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Design differentiated sales approaches for various regional markets (e.g., Southeast Asia, Europe‑America) to enhance the market penetration of the company’s logistics services.
Closely monitor international logistics industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and risks in the cross‑border export sector.
Provide regular market feedback to the management team to support strategic decision‑making for key routes (e.g., Singapore‑Malaysia, Japan‑Korea, Europe‑America).
Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, client feedback, and market trend analysis.
Utilize CRM tools proficiently to efficiently manage customer interactions and the sales process.
Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure profitable and sustainable business partnerships.
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all relevant documentation (e.g., transport agreements, customs clearance documents).
