Job summary
A reputable automotive service provider in Singapore is seeking a claims processor. This role involves liaising with insurance for damage claims, assisting customers with claims, updating them on their claim status, and finalising repair costs. Candidates should have an NITEC in Automotive Technology, good knowledge of car components, and strong interpersonal skills. Relevant estimator experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Minimum NITEC in Automotive Technology.
- Good knowledge of car components.
- Estimator experience essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills required.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with Insurance for damage claims.
- Assist customers with accident report filing.
- Follow up on claim acceptance and repair authorization.
- Update customers on claim outcomes.
- Prepare documents for claims processing.
- Advise on payment vouchers and medical claims.
- Finalise repair costs post completion.
Skills
Education
- Liaise with Insurance or survey for own damage, windscreen claims and third part claims offer.
- Assist customer to file accident report, prepare quotation for submission to insurer.
- Follow up on liability clearance, claim acceptance and approval and repair authorisation.
- Update customer on claim submission outcome and repair progress.
- To sort and prepare documents of own damage/windscreens/third party claims.
- Follow up on claim authorisation, replacement parts availability and repair process.
- Advise and assist B&P admin payment voucher of LOU, medical claims, coating etc.
- Assist B&P admin to obtain signature for discharge voucher.
- To finalise repair cost with insurer/surveyor after repair completion.
- Any other adhoc tasks assigned by superior
- Minimum NITEC in Automotive Technology
- Good knowledge of car components
- Estimator experience
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to build strong client relationships
