Job summary
A leading recruitment agency seeks an experienced manager for body and paint operations in Singapore. The role requires managing repair quality, meeting profitability targets, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Candidates should have a degree and at least 10 years of managerial experience in the automotive field, with strong leadership and communication skills. This is a critical role within a dynamic environment focused on continuous improvement and excellence.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of managerial experience in body and paint operations.
- Relevant technical knowledge in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage body and paint operations to achieve profitability targets.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturers standards in bodyshop repairs.
- Lead the team to meet business objectives and promote continuous improvement.
Skills
Education
- Manage the entire body and paint operations to achieve overall profitability target.
- Ensure all bodyshop repairs are carried out in compliance with the manufacturers standards and fulfil insurance company expectations in respect of repair deadline, repair quality and claim requirements.
- Manage in-house contractors to ensure repair quality is up to expectations and to fulfill individual brand and other contractual obligations.
- Lead the team to meet business objective within a culture of continuous improvement, process excellence and efficiency.
- Degree in any discipline with at least 10 years of managerial experience in body and paint operations.
- Possess relevant technical knowledge in the automotive industry.
- Possess strong leadership skills, and excellent people management and communications skills.
