Job summary
A maritime services company in Singapore is looking for a Supervisor to oversee maintenance and repair work on ships. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a shipyard environment, possess a valid Welder's Certificate, and be skilled in reading engineering drawings. This role requires ensuring that tasks are completed safely and according to schedule.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working onboard ships or in a shipyard environment.
- Possession of a valid Welder's Certificate.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance and repair works onboard ships.
- Ensure tasks are completed safely and on schedule.
Skills
Education
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working onboard ships or in a shipyard environment.
- Possesion of a valid Welder's Certificate.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Shipyard Supervisor certificate is advantageous.
