A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Sales Engineer specializing in the marine, oil & gas, and EPC industries in Singapore. The role involves developing client relationships, providing technical solutions, and achieving sales targets. An ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in sales or technical sales, excellent communication skills, and a strong problem-solving ability.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, as well as prospecting for new business opportunities
Provide technical expertise and advice to clients, helping them identify the best products and services to meet their needs
Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring that clients receive exceptional value and service
Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutions
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product innovations, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and other marketing activities to promote the company's offerings
Contribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives drive the company's growth
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales or technical sales role, preferably in the marine, oil & gas, EPC or valves industries
Previous Service/Application Engineer willing to switch to sales are welcomed
Excellent understanding of the product specifications, applications, and technologies in the target industries
Proven track record of building strong client relationships and successfully closing sales deals
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to provide tailored solutions to clients
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to a non-technical audience
Self-motivated and driven, with a passion for achieving sales targets and driving business growth
