What will you do as a Regional Finance Analyst?
As our Regional Finance Analyst, you will be responsible to work closely with other members of the team and engage actively across functions to ensure high reporting quality and data integrity at the regional level. Together with others in the Business Unit (BU) Finance team, you work as a finance and business partner for the 13 operating companies (‘OpCos’) in the region, engaging in discussions on business performance and financial results. You will be the group reporting system SME (subject matter expert) in the team and provide system support to OpCos. You should be able to deliver the rigor and quality of financial reporting and prepare an insightful analysis of the business. In the meantime, you are also involved with the month-end closing process for the BU consolidation and will be the Finance focal handling the Opcos and shared service providers to ensure a timely closing. This role offers a good opportunity to learn the full regional Finance responsibilities and be a member of a versatile team.

What do we expect from you as a Regional Finance Analyst?
Bachelor Degree in Business, Accountancy, or Finance with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience including Accounting and FP&A
Big4 experience is preferred
Good accounting knowledge with a drive to read up on technical topics when required
Strong analytical, and problem-solving ability, and ability to translate complex data to key messages
Structured, logical, meticulous and attention to detail
Possess a "can do" attitude and is comfortable suggesting and driving process improvements and changes
Curious, with a willingness to challenge the status quo and share one’s opinion
Ability to multitask and work under time pressure
Excellent verbal and written (English) communication skills
Proficient user of Microsoft Office, and Google Suite applications
Fast learner of various systems and tools (experience with ERP systems preferred)
Your core responsibilities are:
Ensure and deliver a proper and high-quality management reporting
Manage the monthly closing and forecasting process with the shared service providers and OpCos
Coordinate with the shared service provider for a small size entity’s financial and tax reporting
Support the FP&A Manager and Internal Control Manager to ensure OpCos finance reporting quality and the consolidated BU results are of accuracy, adheres to IFRS and finalized in a timely manner
Assist in preparation of the monthly and quarterly Flash reports
Prepare monthly management reporting packs to deep dive and analyze financial performance against prior performance, budget, and estimated outlook
Understand business and non-business drivers for subsidiaries and Joint ventures' performance
Coordinate and be actively involved in the budgeting and forecasting process of the BU and OpCos, including testing of templates, ensuring prompt submission, checking of numbers, preparation of consolidated BU report write-up, etc
Liaise with cross-functional SMEs to ensure reports are well aligned and reconciled, and information is properly represented as reflected in the reporting system
Design and construct reports or dashboards (including KPI analysis) to best reflect OpCos and BU performance to ensure continuous monitoring of performance and to support business decision making
Be the regional financial system subject expert, and support OpCos and other functions in their reporting need whenever system knowledge is required
Support OpCos finance and other business functions to ensure a collaborative and supportive working environment
Provide support to other business functions and their analysis e.g data retrieval/validation from Tagetik and to construct reports where necessary
Analyze sustainability KPIs’ development and trends in sustainability reporting (e.g. energy efficiency)
Assist in the preparation of slides or other ad hoc tasks
