What You Will Do

As a Country Sales Executive for AECO in Malaysia, you will work with our customers to ensure their ongoing success and win business. You will liaise closely with existing customers in the region, work to achieve sales targets, present our Trimble Construction One products to prospects, and manage a growing portfolio of clients.

Your job will include you using your knowledge of construction technologies like BIM and IBS to understand our customer’s needs and pitch our products as suitable solutions for their project design, planning, and execution.

In this position, you will:

  • Develop Account Plans for Key Accounts

  • Develop and Execute Sales Plans based on Trimble’s OKR to drive revenue and ARR

  • Forecast realistically and report sales funnels against performance.

What Skills, Qualifications and Experience you should bring:

Along with your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, your self-motivated nature, and your desire to collaborate with other technical professionals local and global, you will also possess the following skills:

  • Result-oriented and goal-focused

  • Strong time management skills and ability to deliver results on time

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen to customer issues, understand customer workflows, and identify customer goals

  • Good organizational skills, a flexible mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

  • 5+ Years Experience in Sales and Account Management

  • Experience in Software or Technology Company Sales, or Revenue Related Roles

  • Knowledge of the Construction Industry is an added advantage.

Information About Your Location

Primarily supporting our customers in Malaysia, you will be based in our new Trimble office in Mid-Valley City, Kuala Lumpur, along with the rest of our Malaysia team (currently around 21 people). Some travel is involved (around once per quarter), meeting with your customers. Our Malaysia office has an exciting team environment where people love working with leading technology solutions. You can work hybrid, working from home on Mondays & Fridays.
