Job summary
A leading e-commerce platform in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an entry-level Sales Representative for merchant acquisition. You will acquire and activate F&B merchants, prioritize high-potential outlets, and manage the sales pipeline. - SPM / Diploma (any field); Business, Commerce, or Marketing is a plus.
- Fresh grads or up to 16 years experience, preferably in sales, FMCG, or telco.
- Interest in e-commerce and digital payments.
- Good presentation and basic business acumen.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Able to communicate in multiple languages (English, Malay, Chinese).
- Flexible to work on-ground during peak periods.

Responsibilities
- Acquire and activate F&B merchants across assigned areas to meet outlet sign-up targets.
- Prioritize potential outlets and explore underserved areas for expansion.
- Maintain and update the sales funnel for accurate forecasting.
- Ensure timely submission of all merchant paperwork and reports.
- Record insights and merchant feedback, escalating actionable items.
- Identify competitor activity and recommend actions.
- Support account management and cross-functional teams with handovers.
Youll join a fast-moving sales team driving merchant acquisition for our food delivery platform. This is an entry-level role ideal for fresh grads or candidates with up to 16 years experience who are hungry to learn, grow, and hit targets.
Your main goal: sign up and activate F&B merchants in your assigned area and help them perform on ShopeeFood.
- Acquire and activate F&B merchants across your assigned areas (phone, online or faceface) to meet outlet signp targets.
- Prioritize highotential outlets and explore underserved sub reas for expansion.
- Maintain and regularly update the sales funnel (pipeline hygiene, status updates, conversion notes) to ensure accurate forecasting and progress tracking.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all merchant paperwork, onboarding forms and reports.
- Record and report on onrground insights and merchant/competitor feedback (field observations, merchant needs, win/loss reasons), escalating actionable items to the team.
- Identify competitor activity and recommend quickin actions to protect and grow our presence.
- Support account management and crossunctional teams with handovers and merchants followlosure.
