A global technology company in Cyberjaya is looking for an IT Transformation & Integration Manager to lead IT transformation projects across the APAC region. The candidate will manage integration initiatives, drive digital modernization, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards. Experience in IT infrastructure and strong leadership abilities are essential. Candidates with 5-8 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree are encouraged to apply.
The IT Transformation & Integration Manager – Japan & APAC will be responsible for executing and supporting regional IT transformation initiatives, with a focus on IT infrastructure, network, and telecom integration, process standardization, and digital modernization across Japan and the wider APAC region. This role works closely with global IT, regional business units, and local country teams to ensure seamless adoption of new technologies, alignment to global standards, and delivery of measurable business value.
Collaborates with senior management/leadership to understand the organization's digital transformation goals and drive towards enablement of such.
Creates adoption plans for new digital technologies, outlining the steps for successful implementation and integration.
Designs and delivers training programs, workshops, and resources to educate stakeholders about the benefits and usage of digital tools.
Maintains a holistic position to ensure full objectivity and impartiality whilst maintaining the Digital Office strategic direction for Corporate IT.
Drives optimization and lowers the cost of services through centralization, digitalization and optimization.
Works closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, departments, and project teams, to ensure alignment and collaboration on digital initiatives.
Develops change management strategies to address potential resistance, engage stakeholders, and ensure a smooth transition to digital solutions.
Provides ongoing support to users as they navigate and utilize digital tools, addressing questions, issues, and concerns.
Identifies opportunities for process optimization through the application of digital technologies, working with teams to streamline workflows.
Maintains and improves programs to foster a culture of driving quality improvement based off the analysis of employee survey feedback to drive improved employee satisfaction in conjunction with EICS performance management and Information Technology.
Leverages data to measure the effectiveness of digital transformation initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and drive informed decisions.
Drives innovation by researching and investigating emerging infrastructure technologies and the best practices associated.
Stays updated with emerging digital trends, tools, and best practices, and assess their potential relevance to the organization.
Support the delivery of regional IT transformation projects, including IT infrastructure, network, and telecom upgrades, and AI-driven initiatives.
Contribute to the migration of legacy infrastructure to standardized, cloud-enabled platforms.
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to increase operational efficiency.
Execute cross-country IT infrastructure, network, and telecom integration efforts in line with global IT target architectures.
Coordinate with local IT teams in Japan and APAC to ensure standardized practices and infrastructure adoption.
Support data center integration, network harmonization, and telecom system alignment projects.
Manage small-to-medium scale IT projects from planning to delivery.
Prepare project documentation, status updates, and risk assessments for stakeholders.
Apply change management practices to support smooth user adoption.
Ensure compliance with global cybersecurity standards (e.g., Qualys vulnerability patching, OKTA remote access compliance).
Participate in vendor risk assessments (OneTrust) and IT security audits.
Support local and regional teams in mitigating risks during integrations.
Act as a liaison between global IT, regional stakeholders, and local IT operations teams.
Support cross-functional collaboration with DC Operations, GID, Finance, HR, and Global IS.
Provide guidance and training to country IT staff to align with integration objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business or related discipline.
5–8 years of professional IT experience, with exposure to infrastructure, network, or telecom transformation projects.
Hands‑on experience with IT infrastructure, enterprise networks, and telecom systems.
Prior experience in regional (APAC/Japan) IT operations preferred.
Certifications in relevant areas, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Digital Transformation Professional (CDTP), are advantageous.
ITIL Foundation (minimum) or higher preferred.
SIAM – Service Integration and Management Foundation would be advantageous.
Strong knowledge of networking, telecom systems, enterprise infrastructure, and cybersecurity practices.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), automation tools, and IT monitoring solutions.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or equivalent).
Strong communication skills in English (business level); Japanese proficiency is highly desirable.
Excellent problem‑solving, time management, and cross‑cultural collaboration abilities.
Able to work effectively in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders.
Advanced understanding of digital technologies, including cloud computing, data analytics, automation, and collaboration tools.
Advanced understanding of IT industry environment and business needs.

Advanced change management expertise, including the ability to manage resistance and promote user engagement.

Advanced demonstrated experience in a similar role within a global Information Technology organization.
Advanced demonstrated experience in facilitating digital transformation initiatives, technology adoption, or change management within an Information Technology environment.
