Job summary
A financial services company in Iskandar Puteri, Malaysia, is seeking an accountant to manage account reconciliation, and prepare financial statements. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a solid understanding of financial transactions. The role requires excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and banks, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Manage accounts and ensure accurate bank reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Coordinate payment runs and follow up on client invoices.
Skills
Education
- Manage the full spectrum of accounts , bank reconciliation with accuracy and discipline.
- Maintain clean, organized, and up-to-date bookkeeping records that support smooth month-end closing.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and detailed supporting schedules for leadership review.
- Coordinate and prepare payment runs, ensuring all approvals are properly followed through.
- Issue client invoices promptly and follow up on collections , playing a key role in maintaining a healthy cash flow.
- Maintain clear and accurate AR/AP ageing reports for easy tracking and reporting.
- Liaise confidently with banks on payment processing, deposits, and account-related matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Solid understanding of payment processing, cash flow monitoring, and day-to-day financial transactions.
- Independent, reliable, and proactive ,able to manage tasks with minimal supervision while coordinating smoothly with internal teams and external partners.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with stakeholders at different levels.
