Job summary

A prominent facilities management company in Malaysia is seeking a Manager for Facilities & Maintenance in their warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Engineering and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, focusing on supervision and management of maintenance operations. This position requires fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia, as well as familiarity with ISO management systems. The role involves managing maintenance activities, overseeing contractor teams, and ensuring facilities are efficiently maintained.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a facilities role with oversight focus.
  • Candidate must be a Registered Chargeman with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) (preferred).
  • Experience in a dynamic logistics or warehouse environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all maintenance and repair activities for machinery and facilities.
  • Oversee maintenance to ensure efficiency and minimal downtime.
  • Lead contractor maintenance team, ensuring safety standards.
  • Plan schedules, monitor progress, and control budgets.
  • Maintain records of facility equipment and service history.
  • Manage facility-related issues and coordinate with vendors.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections for premises upkeep.
