Job Description
- Production Management:
- Oversee daily production activities and ensure smooth operations on the shop floor.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Plan and allocate resources (manpower, machinery, and materials) to meet production targets.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure all products meet the company’s quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks during production processes.
- Implement and maintain food safety standards, such as HACCP, GMP, or ISO 22000.
- Team Supervision:
- Lead and manage a team of production workers, ensuring proper training and performance management.
- Provide guidance and resolve operational issues on the production floor.
- Foster a safe and positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and productivity.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Monitor production metrics and report performance to senior management.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to minimize equipment downtime.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international food safety regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of equipment and processes to maintain safety standards.
- Train staff on food hygiene, health, and safety protocols.
- Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination:
