Process / NPI Engineer
About the role
As a Process / NPI Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient, safe, and high‑quality production processes within our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for optimizing production systems, improving workflow efficiency, reducing costs, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to meet company goals.
What you'll be doing
- Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows.
- Optimizes productivity by designing, implementing, and testing new procedures.
- Provide an effective loading layout based on packaging item which comply to the customer requirements and loading transportation regulations.
- Assembles reports to document process status and changes.
- Provides thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes.
- Assesses compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
- Drafting process ideas to reduce costs and improve production rates.
- Performing process simulations and troubleshooting issues and optimization test.
- Developing routines and best practices to ensure product quality and standardized operating instructions for the upgrades process.
- Support technically to manufacture by coordinating engineering modifications.
- Attain targets for process productivity, manufacturing days, process yield and entire manufacturing expenses.
- Design the loading layout according to loading plan provided by Planner using CAD software.
Who are they looking for
- Diploma & above, Mechanical Engineering major is preferred
- Above 2-3 years relevant working experience.
- Knowledge of Mechanical (Metal Stamping , Die-Casting)
- Analysis and communication skill
- Good Mandarin & English both in written and oral
- Good command of written and spoken Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English, as the role requires liaising with Mandarin‑speaking counterparts and working in a multilingual environment.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word and Excel).
- Software : Microsoft Office / 2D CAD.
- Ability to work well in team based environment.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility.
