A leading quality control firm in Ipoh is seeking a Quality Control Specialist. Responsibilities include maintaining daily quality records, ensuring compliance with SOP and Halal guidelines, supervising production operations, and conducting various tests. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Quality Control or a related field and possess a minimum of 3 years experience. Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential. This role offers an opportunity to work independently in a dynamic environment.
1. To maintain proper record for all matters relating to daily quality control process.
2. To ensure that the SOP, work instructions, and other quality documents are being updated and reviewedperiodically.
3. Assist in product complaint and recall and suggest improvements.
4. Ensure the production follow the GMP and Halal documentation.
5. Prepare Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and arrange the dispensing/issuing of BMR.
6. Supervise daily production operation and monitor daily production output.
7. To check BMR before handling to QA Department for final approval.
8. To conduct daily inspection to the production workers.
9. To maintain an effective and efficient administrative system for the control of documents, manual and maintenance records.
10. To receive sample of intermediates, finished products and stability samples for physical testing.
11. To ensure that the samples are properly preserved, stored and discarded.
12. To prepare Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and test method procedure for physical testing and ensure that Good Documentation practice is maintained.
13. To carry out physical test for intermediates, finished products and stability samples as per SOP and ensure the accuracy of the test results.
14. To clean all the glassware and equipment needed for physical testing.
15. To assist in performing chemical testing or microbiological testing.
16. To assist in internal audit related TCM safety, sustainability, religious, customer and quality management system.
17. To ensure that all instruments and equipment are well maintained.
18. To update the list of glassware, instruments and equipment available in the physical testing laboratory.
19. To record all the testing in logbook or form provided.

1. Bachelor’s Degree /Diploma, in Quality Control / Quality Assurance or equivalent, with minimum 3 year working experience.
2. Preferable to have experience in good understanding and implementation of Halal, GMP and HACCP standards requirement.
3. Good command of spoken and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia
4. Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques
5. Able to work with minimum supervision
