Job summary

Job description
  • Assist in project planning and scheduling, including preparation of work timelines and coordination plans.
  • Coordinate daily project activities with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Monitor site progress through regular site visits and ensure work quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Handle material management, including requisition, delivery tracking, stock monitoring, and material verification.
  • Maintain accurate material usage logs, inventory records, and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Prepare project reports, progress updates, meeting minutes, and follow‑up action items for management review.
  • Resolve site or coordination issues by liaising with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
  • Support administrative tasks, including preparation of claims, purchase requests, invoices, and project‑related paperwork.
  • Ensure proper documentation control, filing, and tracking of project information, drawings, and correspondence.
  • Support any ad‑hoc tasks assigned by Management to ensure smooth project execution and operational continuity.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in project coordination, construction, site supervision, or material control.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project tracking tools.
  • Willing to travel to project sites as required.
  • Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is essential for stakeholder communication.
  • Willing to work extra hours as required by project deadlines or site conditions.
