Job Description
  1. Production Management:
    • Oversee daily production activities and ensure smooth operations on the shop floor.
    • Monitor production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products.
    • Plan and allocate resources (manpower, machinery, and materials) to meet production targets.
  2. Quality Control:
    • Ensure all products meet the company’s quality standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks during production processes.
    • Implement and maintain food safety standards, such as HACCP, GMP, or ISO 22000.
  3. Team Supervision:
    • Lead and manage a team of production workers, ensuring proper training and performance management.
    • Provide guidance and resolve operational issues on the production floor.
    • Foster a safe and positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and productivity.
  4. Operational Efficiency:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement to increase productivity and reduce waste.
    • Monitor production metrics and report performance to senior management.
    • Collaborate with the maintenance team to minimize equipment downtime.
  5. Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international food safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular audits of equipment and processes to maintain safety standards.
    • Train staff on food hygiene, health, and safety protocols.
  6. Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination:
    • Work closely with procurement and inventory teams to maintain adequate stock levels.
    • Manage raw material usage to prevent shortages or overstocking.

  7. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and quality reports.
    • Prepare and present reports on production performance and improvement plans.
