Job summary
An established engineering firm in Negeri Sembilan is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to lead safety initiatives across industrial project sites. The role requires monitoring compliance with safety protocols, conducting inspections, and promoting a culture of safety among teams. Candidates must possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor certificate and have a minimum of four years of supervisory experience in construction safety. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of project delivery.

We are looking for a dynamic Site Safety Supervisor to champion safety across our advanced industrial project sites. You will take the lead in ensuring all safety protocols are followed, promoting a strong culture of safety, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks. Your role will be key in keeping our teams safe while supporting smooth, on-time project delivery.
- Monitor and enforce site safety requirements in accordance with OSHA, DOSH, and project safety standards.
- Conduct daily site inspections, identify safety hazards, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Lead toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and inductions for workers and subcontractors.
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, including risk assessments, JSA, incident reports, and safety checklists.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and non-compliance issues, and recommend preventive measures.
- Ensure workers comply with PPE requirements and safe work procedures.
- Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors on safety-related matters.
- Assist in developing and updating the Site Safety Plan and Emergency Response Plan.
- Promote a positive safety culture across the project team.
- Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.
- Possess a valid Yellow Book / Site Safety Supervisor certificate (or equivalent recognized qualification).
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in construction site safety supervision, preferably in industrial, warehouse, or FMCG projects.
- Proven track record in implementing and enforcing safety protocols, risk assessments, and compliance with local regulations.
- Experience conducting safety inspections, incident investigations, and training for site personnel.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, as well as construction site practices.
- Ability to coordinate with project teams and management to maintain a safe working environment.
- Physically fit and able to work at construction sites.
Project Location at Arab Malaysian Industrial Park, 71800 Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.
