Job summary

A leading technology firm in Klang City is seeking an IT Support Specialist to maintain IT operations, monitor infrastructure, and provide technical support. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in IT or a related field, a minimum of 2 years of experience, and strong analytical, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills. Job description

Support daily IT operations, including network, server and system maintenance to ensure smooth and secure business operations.

Monitor and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including storage servers, databases and cloud-based services.

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.

Maintain IT asset inventory, licenses, and vendor communications.

Provide installation, configuration and maintenance of computers, printers, photocopiers, scanners and other IT related equipment.

Assist in ensuring data backup, cybersecurity measures and access controls are well administered in accordance with protocol.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues promptly.

Provide technical support and guidance to employees on system use and best practices.

Collaborate with departments to understand system needs and deliver suitable digital solutions.

Assist in system upgrades, software installations and integration projects.

Support business applications such as Microsoft 365, internal systems and etc.

Provide remote and on-site support as and when needed.

Document and track all support activities and resolution of problems/issues.

Requirements

Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT support role, strong analytical and problem-solving, troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of the team.

Ability to research and identify solutions to technical issue.

Familiarity with common hardware, software and network technologies.

Must have positive attitude, patient, pleasant and interpersonal skills.
