Job summary
A leading technology company in Malaysia is seeking a Senior System Engineer to administer VMware environments and improve operational efficiency through automation. The ideal candidate has proven experience with VMware products, strong Linux system administration skills, and familiarity with DevOps methodologies. Responsibilities include providing expert-level support, collaborating with teams, and ensuring system security and compliance. This role offers the opportunity to enhance technical skills in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior System Engineer or Cloud Administrator in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience managing VMware products such as vCenter, vSphere, NSX, and vSAN.
- Solid understanding of Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support VMware environments including VCF, VCD, NSX, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, vRA/vRO, and Tanzu.
- Design, implement, and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve system reliability.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
