A technology firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced IT Engineer to join their dynamic team. We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer to join our dynamic IT team in the IT/Computer industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems and networks to ensure smooth operations within the organization.
Manage firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network security.
Internet and Firewall services, secure access to the Internet; LAN wired and Wi‑Fi network services, grant access and make sure network resources such as files are available.
Respond promptly to system breakdowns and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime, while providing technical support to PC users and monitoring for potential misuse or abuse of IT resources.
Carry out data server administration tasks—including network mapping to user terminals—and conduct regular backup and restore operations for data and mail servers.
Create, manage, and maintain user accounts for network logins and email systems, including administering email configuration for internal and external communication and forwarding rules.
Monitoring Printer Consumable and approval for each purchasing of Computer part & accessories.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful integration of MES systems.
Planned, maintain and carry out scheduled housekeeping of all computer user hard disk utilization.
Manage IT procurement processes, including sourcing, evaluating, and liaising with vendors and service providers.
Maintain and troubleshoot CCTV and door access control systems, ensuring accurate configuration, updated user access, regular maintenance, and continuous uptime.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive IT documentation; produce regular reports on system status, incidents, usage, and procurement activities; and manage the master inventory of software, hardware, and user accounts in support of annual audit requirements.
Candidate must possess at least a Degree in IT (Computer Science, Computer Application, Information Technology, and Telecommunication) or equivalent.
Preferable Mandarin‑speaking candidates as the role requires candidates to deal with Mandarin speaking stakeholders.
At least 2–5 years of working experience in related field.
Experienced in networking is an advantage.
