Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Kuala Lumpur is offering a Graduate Trainee Program designed for recent graduates in Civil Engineering. This program includes a combination of comprehensive training and practical on-the-job experience over 9 to 12 months. Trainees will assist in project monitoring, maintenance planning, and quality control while gaining essential skills. Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring project progress and proactively addressing potential issues.
  • Support the Project Planner in compiling work programs and preparing progress reports.
  • Assist the Maintenance Engineer in planning and executing routine maintenance works.
  • Support quality control activities to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Assist the Contract & Claims Unit in tracking claims and payment processes.
  • Maintain compliance with SOPs and security regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in monitoring project progress and proactively addressing potential issues.
  • Support the Project Planner in compiling work programs and preparing progress reports for submission to clients.
  • Assist the Maintenance Engineer in planning and executing routine maintenance works and traffic management plans at site, as outlined in the Service Level Agreements (SLA), including the preparation of Notices of Defects (NOD).
  • Support quality control activities to ensure all requirements and standards are met.
  • Assist the Contract & Claims Unit in tracking, analysing, and reporting on all claims and payment processes to the Project Manager.
  • Maintain a high level of compliance with the company’s established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and security regulations.
