Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets, both short-term and long-term.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate clients, group bookings, and partnerships with event planners, travel agencies, and other stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, industry partners, and key decision-makers.
Identify and negotiate partnerships, affiliations, and collaborations that can enhance the hotel's business opportunities.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to showcase the hotel's value proposition.
Negotiate and finalize contracts and pricing agreements with clients and partners.
Collaborate with revenue management teams to maximize room rates and occupancy levels.
Maintain detailed records of business development activities, track progress against targets, and prepare regular reports for management.
Manage and lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve objectives.
Ensure excellent customer service for all clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
Conduct market research to identify trends, potential opportunities, and competitors' activities. Develop a deep understanding of the target market.
REQUIREMENT:
A bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, marketing, or a related field is typically preferred.
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development or sales roles, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Previous experience in the hospitality industry is highly beneficial.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the local language and English. Additional languages may be an advantage, especially in international markets.
Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to close deals effectively.
