Job summary
A leading delivery service provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to manage same-day delivery services. Responsibilities include delivering documents to various departments, maintaining delivery logs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates must have at least 1 year of relevant experience and a valid driving license. The ideal candidate is punctual, responsible, and physically fit for delivery duties. A strong knowledge of local delivery routes is essential.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driving or motorcycle license (D/B/B2).
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in dispatch, mail delivery, or courier services.
- Physically fit and able to perform delivery rounds daily.
Responsibilities
- Perform external same-day deliveries to departments within and outside campus.
- Record and maintain all delivery logs for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Notify the Mailroom Supervisor of any delivery issues, delays, or returned items.
Skills
Responsible for managing external same-day delivery services from the mailroom to designated departments and external offices, ensuring timely, accurate, and secure delivery of documents and parcels.
- Perform external same-day deliveries of documents and materials to departments within and outside International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) Campus.
- Collect, deliver, and obtain acknowledgment for all mail items according to the daily schedule.
- Handle confidential and time-sensitive items with care and professionalism.
- Record and maintain all delivery logs for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Notify the Mailroom Supervisor of any delivery issues, delays, or returned items.
- Ensure all external delivery activities comply with company safety and security standards.
- Support basic mailroom functions such as labeling, sorting, and organizing mail before dispatch.
- Maintain a professional image while interacting with clients, vendors, and external offices.
- Must possess a valid driving or motorcycle license (D/B/B2).
- Must have a clean driving record with no outstanding PDRM summons.
- Must have own transport for daily delivery duties.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in dispatch, mail delivery, or courier services.
- Good knowledge of building layouts and delivery routes (IIUM Gombak/ ISTAC Jalan Duta/ ISTAC Damansara Heights).
- Physically fit and able to perform delivery rounds on a daily basis.
- Punctual, responsible, and able to maintain confidentiality of documents.
