Maintenance Assistant / Junior Maintenance Technician
Job summary
A manufacturing company in Kulim, Kedah is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to aid in preventive and breakdown maintenance of factory machines. The candidate should have a Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field and ideally 1 to 3 years of maintenance experience. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing routine inspections. The role requires a willingness to learn, working independently, and supporting team tasks during breakdowns.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of factory or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge in mechanical, motors, wiring, tools, or equipment handling.
- Willing to learn and responsible with a good teamwork attitude.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of factory machines and equipment.
- Support troubleshooting for mechanical and basic electrical issues.
- Attend to machine breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

Basic knowledge in mechanical, motors, wiring, tools, or equipment handling
Able to work independently for basic tasks and support during breakdowns
Willing to learn, responsible, and good teamwork attitude
Able to work overtime when required
