Overview

NG & NG CONSULT SDN BHD' is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution of complex civil and structural engineering projects. Your expertise will be essential in driving the successful delivery of these projects, which are vital to the company's growth and expansion.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of civil and structural engineering projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and clients, to ensure projects meet all technical, regulatory, safety and authority requirements
• Analyse project data, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, overseeing their work and supporting their professional development
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and implement them in your project work
• Contribute to the development of innovative engineering solutions that enhance the company's service offerings
• Able to carry out both Civil and Structural design works in residential and construction projects.
• Attend regular coordination site and client-consultants' meetings to ensure projects can be executed smoothly.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
• At least 8 years of experience as a Senior Project Engineer or in a similar role within the civil/structural engineering industry
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles, codes, and regulations
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute complex projects
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients
• Proficient in the use of engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software
