Job summary
A leading recruiting agency is seeking a BD Manager for a well-known medical device manufacturer in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in sales and business development within the medical device industry. Responsibilities include securing new leads, strategizing business development plans, and presenting services to potential customers. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering and strong knowledge of CDMO services. The position offers home-based work options.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in the medical device industry with experience in sales and marketing.
- Strong knowledge of CDMO services and Medical Device OEMs.
- Proven ability to negotiate and secure business.
Responsibilities
- Search and secure new leads from Medical Device OEMs.
- Strategize business development plans for medical plastic consumables.
- Build strong business cases and attend industry networking events.
Skills
Education
We are currently looking for a BD Manager for a well known medical device manufacturer that specialises with plastic injection moulding. This position requires your urgent attention.
- Search and secure new leads from Medical Device OEMs across Malaysia, the USA, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East.
- Strategize business development plans for CDMO services and medical grade plastic consumables, and co‑work with teams to generate competitive proposals.
- Build up strong business cases, market, and industry sizing reports, and attend industry networking events and exhibitions.
- Present the company's services to potential customers and secure business through effective negotiations.
- Bachelor’s degree in electronic/mechanical engineering, preferably with a qualification in Business Administration.
- Minimum 5 years in the medical device industry combining experience in sales, marketing, and business development.
- Strong knowledge of CDMO services, Medical/Healthcare Device OEMs, and electronics/mechanical engineering.
