Job summary

A manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Staff member to manage material supply and ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience. Responsibilities include raising requisitions, monitoring stock levels, and maintaining warehouse safety standards. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in Warehouse / Store is advantageous.

• Supply materials as per Manufacturing Instruction.

Job description

To supply the right type of material as per the Manufacturing Instruction on a daily basis to the production department.

To raise raw material Requisition for raw materials and monitor and maintain sufficient stock level for all production consumables and spare parts.

To receive raw material and arrange inspection by QA department.

To ensure proper handling, storage, packing and delivery of raw materials and components in store.

To ensure correct and proper storage and protection of product stocks and maintain records of stock levels and quantities.

To upkeep warehouse and materials storage safety, hygienic and good manufacturing practices.

To ensure proper identification and segregation of raw materials as according to inspection status and first in first out (FIFO) or first expired first out (FEFO) system.

To perform any other related job function as required by the management.

Education and Experience

Possess a Diploma in any related field or SPM (or equivalent) and 2 years of relevant experience.

Working experience in Warehouse / Store is an added advantage.

Knowledge and Skills

Able to work independently, meticulous, self-starter, good interpersonal and leadership skills.
