Job summary

A reputable manufacturing company in Penang is seeking a QA Inspector responsible for ensuring product quality through various inspections and monitoring processes. The ideal candidate should be able to work shifts and overtime if necessary, with basic knowledge of measurement instruments and computer skills in Excel and Word. Responsibilities include conducting daily quality checks, verifying product conformance to standards, and maintaining a tidy work area. Training will be provided for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Able to work shifts and overtime as needed.
• Capability to read and write effectively.
• Basic knowledge of measurement instruments such as caliper and gauge required.
• Proficient in basic computer skills including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Verify product quality using specified parameters.
• Ensure quality of every part in mechanical production.

Overview

Responsible for acquiring the quality in the product. QA inspector has to verify the quality of a product with the help of parameters like weight, texture and other physical properties of the company. In mechanical industry, the QA inspector ensures the quality of every part individually. QA inspector monitors every process involved in the production of a product. QA inspector should ensure the product of a company meets quality standards. Ensure incoming material inspection conforms to specification and standard requirement. To conduct daily quality checking and data recording activities in production. Practice good housekeeping in work area, tidy and safe for conductive work environment. Any other duties as and when assigned by superior / management.
