A leading service company in Malacca is seeking a Sales Manager to lead their sales team towards achieving targets. The ideal candidate has a diploma and at least 5 years of experience in sales management. Formación

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant Sales Management/Supervisory experience.
  • Able to work onsite and handle driving responsibilities.
  • Possess own vehicle; resident or citizen of Malaysia.

Descripción del empleo
In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Leading the sales team and drive them to achieve monthly and annual target
  • Coach and guide sales team into professional sales personnel
  • Review weekly sales activities, defining strategic sales pipeline and prospects by building on solid existing client relationship to win more new sales and clients in your territory to help the team to achieve sales target
  • Engaged in sales route ride with the team within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities is explored
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Drive sales revenue and analyse their needs for upsell and cross sell opportunities
  • Takes accountability by ensuring team update daily sales in system
  • Agile and flexible to perform on-site inspection as and when required
  • Work closely with other team members to assist in collection
  • Conduct sales meetings and support overall sales SOP so as to be aligned with Company’s direction
  • Conduct visit at major customers’ site on monthly basis to understand their needs, concerns and suggest improvement from feedback received
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s selling propositions and differentiators.
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Minimum a Diploma in any related with at least 5 years relevant Sales Management/ Supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership qualities, result oriented, dynamic, self-driven and motivated to work with and through people of various levels
  • Excellent in promoting teamwork and synergize the team towards achieving sales target
  • Driven by data, analytical, able to develop team by managing their sales activities and coach them accordingly
  • Excellent in building a network of excellent customer relationships
  • Able to identify potential opportunities and provide cost effective solutions to clients
  • Ability to work onsite especially under the sun and go on joint visits with Sales/ Technical colleagues
  • Good understanding of Business clients in your designated geographic areas/ region
  • Able to work autonomously and thrive on challenges
  • Required valid driving license because driving is part of the job requirement for this designation
  • Possess own vehicle, is a Malaysian or holds a relevant resident status

  • Ability to think on your feet to coach team with customer focused solutions
  • Versatility to build rapport with people at all levels
  • Excellent and multi-lingual in both verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to converse in other local dialects will be an added advantage
  • Commercially focused and is alert of the changes and updates in market movement
  • Able to travel to various locations within the designated territory
