Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is currently seeking applicants for a New Product Qualification Engineer. Key responsibilities on research, data analysis, and support for the R&D department in developing new products, improving existing ones, and ensuring the success of projects. Responsible for design and development of mechanical tooling, testing equipment, mainboard and test fixture for product reliability assessment.

This position will be located at Krubong, Melaka in a vibrant industrial area. You will experience exciting different local cultures in this historical state. Nearby are malls and various restaurants. It is also close to recreation parks and a stadium.

• Responsible for KPIs for area of responsibility as assigned by supervisor.
• Execute the qualification process for new products, ensuring they meet AECQ regulatory and performance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to drive projects from concept to production.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate product performance and reliability.
• Analyze test data and generate reports to support product qualification decisions.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during the qualification process.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific standards and AECQ regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / Electrical / Science or other Engineering related course.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in semiconductor environment.
• Knowledge in electrical and electronic.
• Knowledge in Machines/ Equipment operation, hardware and software, application purposely for the trouble shooting.
• Ability to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently and effectively.
• Knowledge in the areas of maintenance practices, preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting analysis and corrective maintenance.
• Strength in technical skills and creative problem solving.
• Soft skill: Able to communicate with cross functional teams, documentation and teamwork.
