We are seeking a talented individual to join our Regional Accounting team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:
  • Responsible for monitoring the payment request and processes conducted by the team for payment processing.
  • Maintain a strong sense of urgency and able to forecast potential issues/hiccups ensuring a seamless, timely delivery of the entire payment process.
  • Assist Team Manager in the development and implementation of internal accounting policies, transitions to and from teams both onshore and offshore, procedures and process improvements for treasury & payment operations function.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, carrier agreements, SOX procedures, local GAAP regulations and procedures as per organization’s standards and SOPs.
  • Supervises accounting staff as required. Provides guidance, advice and support to direct reports to ensure issues are resolved and addressed appropriately in a timely fashion. Has authority to assign, direct and evaluate work, as well as train and provide general direction to professional staff.
  • Interact with stakeholders, project managers etc. to ensure proper execution for flow of information on performance (daily, weekly,monthly), exceptions, process changes and new opportunities
What you need to have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years of experience preferably in Accounts Payable transactions.
  • Those working in a Shared Service environment are encouraged to apply.
  • Good command of English in both spoken and written
