A leading telecommunications firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Head of Commercial Pricing to develop and drive pricing strategies for commercial proposals. This role requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience in pricing strategy within the telecommunications sector. The successful applicant will collaborate with sales teams and internal stakeholders to create financial models and assess long-term profitability. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential to succeed in this position.
The Company is seeking a Head of Commercial Pricing to take ownership of the development of pricing strategies for commercial proposals. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that these strategies align with the company's broader business goals and will provide support to sales teams through profitability assessments and strategic input. This role involves creating financial models to evaluate the long-term profitability of opportunities, collaborating with internal stakeholders on revenue and pricing initiatives, and providing strategic recommendations based on industry benchmarks and market trends.
The Head of Commercial Pricing will also be tasked with designing business and financial models to support pricing decisions for new or enhanced products and services, as well as maintaining strong pricing governance for enterprise clients. Applicants for the Head of Commercial Pricing position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a postgraduate qualification such as an MBA. A minimum of 10 years' experience in pricing strategy, commercial finance, or business analysis, particularly within the telecommunications or ICT sector, is required.
The role demands a leader with a proven track record in driving pricing initiatives and collaborating across functions. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and business acumen is essential, as are excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in pricing governance, competitor benchmarking, and market trend evaluation, and will be adept at monitoring and analyzing competitor pricing changes to assess their impact on market share and customer retention.
