Job summary

A leading medical device company in Malaysia is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead the strategic and operational execution of supply chain functions. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in supply chain roles, including significant leadership exposure, and will be responsible for overseeing logistics, planning, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management and effective communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in supply chain roles within regulated manufacturing environments; 7+ years in leadership.
  • Expertise in forecasting, planning, inventory management (S&OP), and manufacturing scheduling.
  • Experience managing 3PLs, logistics providers, and contract performance.
  • Strong understanding of import/export regulations and compliance.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the regional supply chain strategy aligned with global leadership.
  • Lead site supply chain operations including warehousing, logistics, and import/export.
  • Drive Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and collaborate with teams for forecast accuracy.
  • Manage third-party logistics and ensure performance compliance.
