Account Executive (Mid-Senior)
Job summary
A finance company in Petaling Jaya is seeking a finance officer to manage day-to-day operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and preparing bank reconciliations. Candidates should possess an ACCA certificate or a Diploma in Accounting, with at least 1 year of experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. The position requires good computer literacy and awareness of accounting standards. A pleasant personality and strong work ethic are essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in finance operations.
- Familiarity with computerized accounting systems.
- Pleasant personality with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day finance operations like General Ledger and Accounts Payable.
- Prepare royalty billings and monitor collections.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and manage petty cash claims.
- Ensure financial documents are properly filed.
- Maintain management reports adhering to accounting standards.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superiors.
- Be a collaborative team member.

- Day‑to‑day finance operations like General Ledger, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable functions
- Prepare royalty billings and monitor monthly royalty collection and debt recoveries
- Monitor, control and resolve creditors ledger in any outstanding payables and inherited problems on due outstanding
- Prepare bank reconciliation & petty cash claims
- Ensure proper filling of all documents related to Company financial
- Maintain management reports and ensure they are accurately prepared on timely basis and adhere to accounting standards
- Perform any ad‑hoc tasks and responsibilities which the superior may assign from time to time
- Be a team player

- Canditate must possess ACCA certificate/Diploma in Accounting or other higher academic qualification in accounting or equivalent
- At least 1 year’s working experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Must be computer literate and familiar with MS Office & Computerized Accounting
- Pleasant personality with good working attitude and independent
- Preferable candidates that able to start work immediately and willing to work in PJ areas
