Job summary

A global technology group is seeking a Group Manager for Technical Clarification Conversion to lead and mentor assigned team members. The role requires managing project scope, quality, budget, and schedule while identifying training needs and initiating process improvements. Candidates should hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree and possess excellent analytical and communication skills, particularly in English. This position is based in Shah Alam, Malaysia and involves interaction with international teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum academic qualification of Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or related discipline.
  • Good analytical skills in ERP systems, with focus on material and project planning.
  • Good communication skills, especially command in English.

Group Manager Technical Clarification Conversion

Your role in our team:

  • Lead for the assigned team members technically and disciplinary
  • Identify training needs and mentor team members accordingly
  • Plan utilization and budgets for the assigned team members
  • Manage scope, quality, budget and schedule conform deliveries of projects of the area Maintenance, Conversion and Rebuild from offer phase until handover to the customer
  • Identify potentials and initiate product and process improvements with respective peers to reduce costs and increase efficiency
  • Coordinate and prioritize activities with other projects
  • Manage activities in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams across sites worldwide, especially the German headquarters
  • Monitor and coordinate status information to management and sales

Your role in our team:

  • With minimum academic qualification of Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or related discipline with excellent results
  • Good analytical skills in ERP systems, with focus on material and project planning. SAP knowledge will be an advantage.
  • Team player with high sense of responsibility and commitment towards customer satisfaction in assigned tasks and projects
  • Drive to challenge existing methods to increase the efficiency and digitalization of processes
  • Good communication skills, especially command in English
