Credit & Collections Specialist
Job summary
A leading construction materials company in Malaysia is seeking a Credit Management Officer. Responsibilities include reviewing customer credit applications, maintaining customer records, and tracking accounts receivable. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and has 1-2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary. Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in credit control, collections, or customer accounts management.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple accounts at once.
- Exposure to construction/building materials industries is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review and process customer credit applications accurately and promptly.
- Maintain customer records, including account setup and updates.
- Track accounts receivable (AR) and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve credit issues.
- Prepare credit reports and support daily credit administration.
- Assist with other tasks or projects assigned by management.
