A leading multi-national construction firm based in Selangor is seeking a Construction Manager with expertise in HVAC systems. The role requires 8-10 years of experience in construction management, focusing on project execution, site safety, and client relations. Responsibilities include overseeing project timelines, ensuring compliance with specifications, and managing subcontractors. Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and strong problem-solving and communication skills. This position is primarily on-site in Shah Alam.
Your future employer is a MNC Construction company , specializes in HVAC (Heating, Venting, Air-conditioning) and sanitary installation.
Initiate the project by developing a temporary facility plan, workforce allocation plan, and work environment setup.
Review construction drawings and ensure compliance with guidelines, specifications, and authorization requirements while conducting the final quality check.
Oversee construction progress, adjust work schedules as needed, and ensure project completion within the set timeline.
Act as the contractor’s representative, taking full responsibility for overall site operations and management.
Take full accountability for construction execution, providing clear instructions in case of any issues and promptly reporting to senior management.
Liaise and negotiate with clients, main contractors, site officers (SO), designers, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth project execution.
Hold regular meetings with clients to accurately understand their needs and respond promptly to their requests.
Handle client complaints quickly and provide appropriate reports and improvement measures.
Conduct post-project follow-ups to maintain client satisfaction and strengthen relationships for future projects.
Prioritize worker safety and establish a work environment that complies with occupational health and safety standards.
Develop safety management policies, conduct regular safety briefings, and implement preventive measures to minimize accidents.
Select and manage the most suitable subcontractors based on the project budget.
Ensure proper cost control, optimize efficiency, improve quality, and shorten construction timelines while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
8–10 years of hands-on experience in HVAC construction management and maintenance.
Proven experience in site management, including leading and supervising construction projects.
Ability to take full responsibility for site management, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost control.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide accurate instructions during troubleshooting and report to senior management promptly.
Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
A business-oriented mindset with the ability to represent company management at the site.

Location: Based in site, Shah Alam
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00am - 6:00pm
