Job description

This is a full-time Accountant position with SYAHIDDUL ENGINEERING (M) SDN BHD located in Pandan Perdana, Kuala Lumpur. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations

Producing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports

Key in all accounting entries in Autocount Accounting System.

Assist in submission of bimonthly Sales & Service Tax (SST).

Providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making

Account Responsibilities

• Manage Account Payables
• Assist in claims and commission calculations
• Handle basic bookkeeping tasks and assist with invoice processing

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure consistency and accuracy between bank statements and company records.

• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by management from time to time.

Key job requirements

• Diploma in Finance/Accounting/equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar Accountant role, preferably in the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry Construction.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proficient in using accounting software and various Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
