Job summary
A local kitchen solutions company in Kajang is seeking an experienced Accounting Officer. The role involves managing full sets of accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring timely compliance with statutory submissions. Candidates should have at least a Diploma in Accountancy or Finance and 2 years of related experience. Knowledge of MS Office, Auto Count, and SQL is advantageous. Immediate availability preferred.
Qualifications
- Diploma, partly professional qualification, or Degree in Accountancy/Finance required.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience preferred.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills needed.
Responsibilities
- Handle full sets of accounts and month-end closing.
- Prepare monthly P&L and Balance Sheet for review.
- Assist in external and internal audit assignments.

- Handle full sets of accounts and responsible for smooth month-end closing, monthly reports and other financial matters.
- Handle data entry and responsible for day to day accounting recording function.
- Prepare monthly P&L and schedule of Balance Sheet for Management to review according to deadline.
- Provide accurate and timely financial information for decision making.
- Provide cheque payment to suppliers/creditors before due date and assist in cash flow management.
- Ensure statutory submission are submitted before due date.
- Assist in external and internal audit assignments.
- To handle income tax and related matters.
- Knowledgeably answering audit queries.
- Knowledge in all accounting procedures and principles.
- Any ad-hoc tasks as required by management from time to time.
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, partly professional qualification or Degree in Accountancy/Finance.
- At least 2 years working experience in the related field is required in this position or more of related working experience.
- Preferably with knowledge of MS Office and knowledge of Auto Count and SQL is an added advantage.
- Able to meet tight deadlines and work independently.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Immediate availability is highly preferred.
