Deputy Project Director (Greenfield Data Center)

Are you a Project Management leader with proven expertise in cost, programme, construction quality, and risk management? This is an exceptional opportunity to step into a Deputy Project Director role, delivering greenfield hyperscale data centers. You will be driving end-to-end project delivery, ensuring seamless coordination across all disciplines, and representing the client’s interests at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight across the full project lifecycle – from planning, procurement, and design through to construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Manage cost, programme, quality, and risk to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to world-class standards.
• Oversee project controls, governance, and reporting to both internal stakeholders and the client.
• Act as a senior client interface, ensuring effective stakeholder management and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration between design consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with international best practices for mission-critical infrastructure delivery.
• Support and mentor project managers and package leads to ensure consistency of delivery across all workstreams.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 15+ years’ experience in large-scale construction projects.
• Proven expertise in cost, programme, construction quality, and risk management.
• Strong background in stakeholder and client management at senior level.
• Experience in end-to-end data center construction highly preferred; alternatively, strong track record in mission-critical projects (airports, hospitals, semiconductor, and industrial).
• Prior PMC or consultancy experience is advantageous.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
