Job summary

A leading construction firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a skilled Contract Manager to lead all contract and commercial matters. The successful candidate will oversee contract administration from pre- to post-award, handle tender submissions, and monitor project costs. Required qualifications include a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field and a minimum of 8 years of experience in contract management, preferably in building projects.

  • Experience in building projects preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee full spectrum of contract administration from pre- to post-award.
  • Handle tender submissions, contract negotiation, and value engineering assessments.
  • Monitor project costs, variations, claims, and final account settlement.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on contractual and commercial issues.
  • Provide guidance to QS and contract teams to mitigate risks and drive cost savings.
