Job summary
A premier hotel group in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor. The role involves supervising daily operations, leading the housekeeping team, and ensuring the highest cleanliness standards. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of housekeeping experience in an international hotel, strong leadership skills, and be fluent in English. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to stellar hospitality.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience in an international hotel.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping standards and procedures.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations including guestrooms and public areas.
- Lead, train, and motivate the housekeeping team.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
- Manage administrative tasks such as duty rosters and performance evaluations.

- Supervise daily housekeeping operations including guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house cleanliness.
- Ensure rooms and public areas are cleaned, maintained, and presented to the highest standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver efficient and quality service.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain hygiene, safety, and appearance standards.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Laundry, and Engineering for smooth daily operations.
- Monitor inventory levels of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities.
- Handle guest requests and feedback promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Manage administrative tasks such as duty rosters, reports, and performance evaluations.
- Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience in an international hotel, including supervisory level.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping standards, procedures, and equipment handling.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with a hands‑on approach.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
- Computer literate and familiar with housekeeping management systems.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Detail-oriented, service-minded, and able to work under pressure.
