We’re expanding our global footprint and building a new hub in Kuala Lumpur to support growth across Australia, North America, the UK, Europe and beyond. KL will be a key centre for talent, operations, and future leadership.

Reports to: Global COO & Local KL VP
Works closely with: Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Product, China Manufacturing, Global Warehousing

This role exists to own, build, and operate Vuly’s global inventory brain.

You will lead the KL-based team responsible for running, evolving, and stress‑testing the inventory, forecasting, and drawdown systems inside Vuly’s custom made software (Vuly POS). Your job is not to code the system, but alongside the COO to own the logic, the outputs, and the decisions it enables, while building a high‑calibre operational team around you.

This is a senior, thinking role. We are not looking for a coordinator. We are looking for someone who understands how global product companies scale inventory without chaos.

What success looks like

• One global source of truth for inventory, forecasting, and availability

• Clean, dynamic forecasting that updates automatically with promos, pricing changes, and demand shifts
• China production, consolidation, and global drawdowns working as one system

Key responsibilities

System ownership

• Own the global inventory and forecasting system built inside Vuly POS
• Define and maintain the official dashboards, rules, and assumptions
• Ensure all regions, teams, and leaders are looking at the same data
• Translate business reality into system logic, not spreadsheets

Forecasting and decision logic

• Build and maintain dynamic forecasting models that respond to promotions, pricing changes, new product launches, retirements, regional seasonality differences, demand shocks and supply constraints
• Continuously improve assumptions around bundles, accessories, and spare parts
• Challenge historical thinking and design for scale, not past volume

China production and consolidation

• Work closely with China manufacturing partners and consolidation warehouses
• Support transition toward China‑based inventory drawdown models
• Ensure production smoothing, mixed‑container logic, and regional allocation are system‑driven
• Partner with procurement and logistics to reduce peaks, bottlenecks, and emergency decisions

Team leadership

• Build and lead a KL‑based operations and systems team
• Develop strong second‑line owners who can run the system day‑to‑day
• Create clear operating rhythms, reviews, and escalation paths
• Act as the long‑term institutional memory for how and why decisions were made

Cross‑functional influence

• Partner with Finance on cash‑flow visibility and working capital planning
• Support Sales and Marketing with real‑time availability and scenario planning
• Work with Product to manage transitions between generations and variants
• Provide leadership with clarity, not noise
