Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 6 years of proven experience in private wealth management, relationship management, or a similar client-facing role within the financial services industry.
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia, to effectively interact with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of financial planning principles, investment strategies, and wealth management products, including but not limited to equities, fixed income, mutual funds, and alternative investments.
- Possess excellent client relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain long‑term relationships with high.NET-worth individuals and families.
- Demonstrate strong sales and business development acumen, with a proven track record of acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of the Malaysian financial market, regulatory landscape, and compliance requirements related to wealth management activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with high.NET-worth clients, understanding their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
- Provide comprehensive financial planning advice, including retirement planning, estate planning, tax optimization, and investment strategies, tailored to individual client needs.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of client assets by identifying and recommending suitable investment opportunities across various asset classes, such as equities, fixed income, and alternative investments.
- Conduct regular client reviews to assess portfolio performance, adjust investment strategies as needed, and proactively identify new business opportunities.
- Stay abreast of market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes to provide clients with timely and informed investment advice.
- Collaborate with internal specialists, such as investment analysts, tax advisors, and estate planning attorneys, to provide clients with a holistic wealth management experience.
- Acquire new clients through networking, referrals, and business development activities, expanding the firm’s presence in the private wealth market.
