We are Southeast Asia’s leading womenswear brand, headquartered in Singapore, with an omnichannel presence across Hong Kong SAR China, Indonesia, Malaysia and a retail franchise in Cambodia. In addition, we have also expanded into international markets namely the Philippines and the United States of America.

About the Role

Group Consolidation and audit:

  • Oversee the preparation and review of annual group consolidated financial statements in accordance with SFRS.
  • Review monthly management accounts for group entities to ensure accuracy, compliance with SFRS, and adherence to Group policies.
  • Ensure the timely submission of financial data by each entity, providing support and guidance when necessary.
  • Perform group-level analysis, including variance analysis, and provide insights to management on financial performance.
  • Liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with SFRS and the timely completion of audits for group consolidated statements and local statutory accounts.

Process Improvement & Best Practices:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with SFRS.
  • Drive the automation of manual processes and foster a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and governance policies, maintaining the integrity of financial reporting.

System Migration Support:

  • Collaborate with the project team on the GL team's user requirements for the new ERP system, ensuring alignment with financial processes, internal controls, and reporting needs.
  • Provide feedback and support for any system enhancements or configurations needed to meet the GL team’s requirements.
  • Participate in UAT testing, including execution and documentation of test results, and ensure that any identified issues are addressed before the system goes live.

Team Leadership & Guidance

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of juniors, providing coaching on accounting best practices, technical knowledge, and professional growth.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, in particular Strategic Finance and Operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a finance role, with at least 3 years in audit and 2 years of commercial experience in group consolidation.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and develop a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems. Experience in SAP B1 will be an added advantage.
