Supermicro is looking for a Production Quality Technician to leads Incoming Quality Control (IQC) processes to ensure all incoming materials meet quality standards. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, interpreting technical documents, operating measuring equipment, managing quality data in SAP, and maintaining Standard Inspection Procedures (SIPs) for continuous improvement and compliance.

• Lead Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Processes: Oversee and execute comprehensive IQC procedures, including visual inspection, precise dimension measurement, and thorough function testing for all incoming shipments to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Interpret Technical Documentation: Expertly read and interpret complex material datasheets, detailed specifications, and two-dimensional (2D) engineering drawings to guide inspection and quality assurance activities.
• Operate Advanced Measuring Equipment: Utilize a range of precision measuring equipment, such as rulers, micrometres and LCR meters, to accurately assess materials in strict accordance with Standard Inspection Procedure (SIP) specifications.
• Manage Quality Data and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and meticulously record all inspection results within the SAP system, ensuring data integrity and providing clear, actionable quality reports.
• Develop and Maintain Standard Inspection Procedures (SIP): Take ownership of the creation, continuous improvement, and maintenance of robust SIPs, ensuring all quality control processes are standardized, efficient, and compliant.

• Extensive Quality Control Experience: Possess a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in quality control within computer manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, or Incoming Quality Control (IQC) materials inspection, demonstrating a strong track record of ensuring product excellence.
• Proficiency in Computer and Office Applications: Demonstrate advanced proficiency with personal computers (PC) and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite), including data analysis and report generation.
• Multilingual Communication Skills: Fluent in English and Malay, with proficiency in Chinese being highly advantageous, to facilitate effective communication with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Apply robust analytical skills to identify root causes of quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems: Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and other relevant quality management systems (QMS) is highly desirable, ensuring adherence to international best practices in quality assurance.
• Ability to Train and Mentor: Capability to effectively train junior technicians and share expertise, fostering a culture of quality and continuous learning within the team.
